The magnetic separator basically constitutes a SS 304 / SS 316 parent vessel body which supports series of Magnetic Grills placed vertically, one above the other, so that the contaminated material flows through a series of magnetic umbrella for effective separation of tramp iron and fine ferrous particles found in the process material.

Generally 2 or 3 layers of magnetic grills are provided for 2 stage/ 3 stage magnetic separation when the process material is passing in the domain of the magnetic separator parent body.

The No. of magnetic Grills provided in the parent body, The No. of magnetic rollers provided in the magnetic grill, the obverall dimension of the parent body including the INLET/OUTLET dimensions are calculated at our end when we receive the following information from the end user.

(A) Nature of Process material, It’s general description.
(B) Average particle size of the process material.
(C) Flow Rate in TPH at the location where the magnetic separator is intended to be      installed.
(D) Bulk Density of the process material.
(E) Moisture Content in the process material.
(F) Ambient Temperature of the process material.

All DRAWER TYPE magnetic separator have the magnetic grills placed vertically in it’s assigned slot so that they can be easily pulled our horizontally, cleaned (manually with hand and with water-jet if required) and re-placed back it,s assigned slot after cleaning.

ALL DRAWER TYPE magnetic separators have a door with nylon gasket to prevent leakage/ spill over of the process material and provided with eay-to-operate door latch.

MAGNETIC STRENGTH of the magnetic separator : 9,200 to 10,300 Gauss when checked with hall probe of a digital Gaussmeter.
